The Need
Regardless of the size of a project, there are always risks that must be considered. It is therefore important to plan for, identify, analyze, and control these risks, to increase the likelihood of a successful project.

Objectives
 • To understand the major processes of risk management
 • To develop the framework for an RMP (Risk Management Plan)
 • To create a “risk register”, to capture and update detailed risk information
 • To perform qualitative analyses on identified risks, to prioritize their importance
